Service Description

Book your remote pet poultry consult to get experienced help for your hens from Surrey Poultry Vet via this video or telephone consultation service. I'll provide a health check for your birds, offer advice on maintaining a healthy coop, and guide you on how to best take care of your feathered friends. Let me help you ensure the well-being of your precious poultry. I would always recommend an in-person service for poorly birds so they can be fully examined. However, if you've seen a vet locally I can still help you with home care, answer any unanswered questions or support your vet if they'd like me to. Please note that some medicines cannot be prescribed remotely, e.g. antibiotics, anti-parasite and antifungal products. If you have poor signal or WiFi at your coop, I recommend you send me videos in advance to avoid problems with video quality. This booking is for a 20-minute consultation. Examples of what can be discussed during this time is a coop check, nutrition check, bird health check, health discussion or parasite management advice. Complex, long-standing problems, multiple problems or very poorly birds will need longer than 20 minutes. Professional time is charged at £19.94 per 10 minutes. Some cases need a lot longer than others, depending what the problem is or the level of service required. I will always try to help you as best I can. If you require additional time I will either extend the consultation and invoice you the outstanding fees, or ask you to book a follow up appointment.


Cancellation Policy

Changes, Cancellations & Refunds 3.1 Changes and Cancellations: Changes or cancellation requests must be made up to 4-hours before the scheduled time for the consultation. Timely change requests or cancellations: Cancellations made up to 2 hours before the scheduled time for the consultation will be refunded. Late change requests or cancellations: For cancellations made less than 4-hours before the scheduled time for the consultation, refunds are not provided, but rescheduling may be offered at the discretion of Surrey Poultry Vet. No show: In the event that a user does not show for the appointment without having cancelled, the amount paid will not be refunded. 3.2 Refunds: Users may request a full refund within 48 hours of making a reservation, provided they cancel their booking up to 4-hours before the scheduled time for the consultation. Cancellations can be made via email to the following address: surreypoultryvet@outlook.com Refunds will be credited back using the same payment method used for the booking within 5-30 days. In the event of a cancellation by Surrey Poultry Vet, clients will be offered the option to reschedule the appointment or receive a full refund. 7.4    ​Bookings made less than an hour before the scheduled consultation may be delayed but every effort will be made to ensure the appointment still runs on time.
